Participation in team sports can be a healthy step in your child’s development, and strength training can also help make sure it is a safe one. See what the experts are saying:

“In a growing number of cases it seems that boys and girls who enter sports programs are generally unfit and ill-prepared to handle the duration and magnitude of forces that develop during practice and game situations. According to the Surgeon General’s report on physical activity and health, only about one-half of young people regularly participate in vigorous physical activity and daily attendance in physical education is declining. Further, sedentary pursuits such as television viewing and ‘surfing’ the internet continue to occupy a significant amount of time during childhood and adololescence. Some health care providers believe that approximately 50% of overuse injuries sustained by young athletes could be prevented if children were better prepared to play the game.”

In-House Fitness Training Program
A quality, high-level fitness facility is something that all potential and current club members look for when deciding to join or continue their membership. Statistics show the potential for new members and the ability to retain current members is greatly enhanced by the addition of a well-rounded quality fitness training program to current club offerings. However, it will be the experience, quality and expertise of your fitness trainers that will set your club apart from the other clubs.

Quality physical therapy and chiropractic offices can offer an exciting "value-added" dimension to their practice by offering optional "on-site" fitness training programs for their patients.

Future Shapes offers the experience, quality and expertise your club or practice needs to improve the bottom line. We offer "turn-key" In-House Fitness Training Programs that can be completely customized for all of your club or practice's specific needs; from setting up a full-service gym and buying the equipment to simply outsourcing all of the trainers at a very attractive and affordable price.

Please call us to set up a complimentary meeting to discuss the needs of your particular club or practice at 1-617-965-7375. We look forward to assisting your club or practice in reaching it's maximum potential!
